American ship Charles Phelps arrived at New London, USA with catches of several whalers according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 9 August 1859

An item reported the arrival on the 4th at New London of the Charles Phelps loaded with 40 barrels sperm oil from the bark Palmelia for Wm.H. Reynard, New Bedford, USA. 40 barrels sperm oil from brig Hopeton for Obed Delano, Sippican, USA and 35 barrels sperm oil from bark Sarah for Atsatt&Sturtevant, Mattapoisett.
