American whaler Iris of New London, USA sold according to the Whalemen’s Shipping List dated Tuesday 23 August 1859

An item reported that the bark Iris of New London of 245 tons which arrived in May at New London from a whaling cruise was sold without her inventory for 2.000 dollars to Messres. Powers&Co., Boston, USA.
