Dutch tugs Stad Arnhem, Fiat Voluntas and Eva Sophie built at Delfshaven, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Schiedamsche Courant dated Wednesday 18 March 1885
An item reported that
the Saturday before at the shipyard of B. Wilton, Delfshaven,
Netherlands the screw steam
tug Stad Arnhem was launched for account of the Geldersche
stoomsleepbootmaatschappij, Arnhem,
Netherlands.
Afterwards were the keels laid down of two screw steam tugs, one for account of
J. Visscher, Schiedam, Netherlands and one for P.W. Hulsman, Rotterdam, Netherlands.
Both tugs were to be used for the towage on the Rhine
and were sister ships of the in October 1884 delivered steam tug Fiat Voluntas.
Further more was lying ready for delivery the tug Eva Sophie, built for account
of H. Hannes, Homberg am Rhein, German. Machines en boilers were also
manufactured at the shipyard.
