French auxiliary cruiser Rouen and tug Centaur missing off Casquet according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated Wednesday 3 January 1917

An item dated Bern 3rd referred to the newspaper Le Matin which reported that the French auxiliary cruiser Rouen in the night of Saturday-Sunday near Casquet telegraphed for assistance. Immediately was the tug Centaur. Since then was nothing heard of both ships. Three seriously wounded sailors of the Rouen were picked up at sea by a torpedo boat squadron.
