An
item referred to tidings dated Curacao 1 May reported that a few days earlier
the brig Elenoara of Haiti arrived coming from St. Domingo with on board 45
emigrants including colonel Carriè and lieutenant general Carriè, governor of
the eastern department of Haiti.
