Abandoned French bark Jeanne d’Arc towed into harbour of Madeira according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 12 September 1903

An item dated Madeira, 4th reported that the French bark Jeanne d’Arc captain Bonhomme underway from Marseille, France towards St. Denis was abandoned by her crew 50 miles distance from Madeira picked up by the steamship Obidense and towed into the harbour. In the cargo was 14 feet water. Her crew arrived with their own life boats.
