Dutch court at Amsterdam, Netherlands discussed deliberately sinking of Dutch trawler tug Noordster II (IJM 450) according to the Dutch newspaper Voorwaarts dated 23 September 1921

An item reported that the Gerechtshof (court) at Amsterdam, Netherlands discussed the affair with the Dutch tug trawler Noordster II (IJM 450) which was deliberately sunk for the assurance money. She had been property of the Maatschappij Noordster with as directors L. and H. Director H. was already kept in custody, L. was suspected of sending a copy of a false statement to the assurance firm at Rotterdam, Netherlands. The court at Haarlem, Netherlands sentenced him to one year prison but he stated to be not guilty.
