Arrests for suspected deliberately sinking of Dutch tug trawler Jan Pieterszoon Coen (IJM 411) according to the Dutch newspaper Het Vaderland dated 4 November 1921

An item reported that the police at IJmuiden, Netherlands arrested H.V. and A.W. both of Egmond aan Zee, Netherlands and J.S. of Velseroord, Netherlands being the former master, wheelsman and stoker of the Dutch tug trawler Jan Pieterszoon Coen (IJM 411) owner H.G. Lammers of Katwijk aan Zee, Netherlands. Which sunk on 15 Augusts 1919 off Texel, Netherlands. Her crew was picked up by the German minesweeper no. 50 and brought to IJmuiden. The arrested men were suspected of deliberately sinking the vessel for the assurance money.
