British tug Linesman according to the Dutch newspaper transporting lighters from Netherlands towards England according to the Dutch newspaper Het Centrum dated 25 September 1917

An item reported the arrival at the Nieuwe Waterweg, Netherlands a day earlier of the tug Linesman coming from London, England. She departed the same day back to London with lighters.(1)

1. Used between 13 March and 6 July 1915 in service of the British Admiralty. In 1917 was she owned by T. Gray&Company Limited, Hull,, England in service of the War Office Inland Water Transports Directorate Service as the HS 1 between 1915 and 1919. Finally broken up at Rotterdam, Netherlands in 1962. Completed at the shipyard of J.P. Rennoldson&Sons, South Shield, England with yard number 271 in March 1911. Dimensions 85.2’x 18.1’x 10.1’, a gross tonnage of 96 and a net tonnage of 4 tons.
