Dutch tug Simson arrived with survivors of the lost Dutch schokker IJM 254 according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 21 September 1918

An item dated Nieuwediep, Netherlands 19th reported the arrival of the Dutch tug Simson with the crew of the Dutch schokker IJM 254 master De Graaf which stranded of pale 2 and probably wrecked.
