An item dated 18th reported the passing of Nieuw Anjer [nowadays Anyer, Indonesia] by the British bark Island City coming from the West. Further details were to be reported the next day. A second item dated 20th reported that she passed Oud Anjer underway from Freemantle, Australia towards Shanghai, China.
