Dutch frigate ship Goede Verwachting for sale in Middelburg, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 9 August 1764

An announcement reported that broker Daniël van den Berge Wz. Intended to sell on a public auction o Thursday 30 August at 11.00 o‘clock in the tavern Wynkoopers Huis in Middelburg the extra ordinary well sailing frigate ship de Goede Verwachting aged 3-4 years with as dimensions 87’ (prow) x 26’4“ (in hold at freeboard) x 12’5” and between deck before the mainmast 5’4” all Amsterdam foot. Last captain was Jan Christoffel Ritslaff. Now lying in the new dock in Middelburg.
