Dutch frigate ship Hoop for sale in Middelburg, Netherlands according to the Dutch newspaper Middelburgsche Courant dated 25 June 1765

An announcement reported that the extra strong and well sailing frigate ship de Hoop in 1756 newly fitted out was for private sale available. Her dimensions were 98½’ x 28’ (at the first beam before the large hatch within the hull) x 12’6” (at freeboard), height verdeck 5’1½” all Amsterdam foot. For more details could be asked at François Gaaswyk in Middelburg. According to the announcement in the edition dated 9 July was she still not sold.
