An item reported that the French privateer le General Perignon of Saint Malo, France captured the British merchant ships George and Francis and Oniliphorus coming from Penzance, England, the Kite underway from Guernsey towards Bergen [Norway?] and the Aurora bound for Waterford, England. The first ship sunk.
