British bark Bell of Arvond wrecked off Mazorca island, Peru according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 6 September 1899

An item dated Callao, Peru 2nd reported that the ship Bell of Arvon loaded with guano was wrecked off Mazorca. Her crew was saved and landed at Huacho, Peru.(1)

1.Master H. Pugh, iron-built barque-rigged, 923 register tons, official number 74.541, built at Hylton in 1876 and homeport Liverpool, England. The disaster happened off Mazorca island on 30th August. Her master was proved to be not guilty.
