Dutch bark L.R. Koolemans Beynen still not sold according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 1 August 1885

An item dated Rotterdam, Netherlands 31st July reported that the sale of the Dutch bark L.R. Koolemans Beynen during the auction on the 28th for ƒ 10.000 was not executed.(1)

1. Built as the frigate Maassluis at the shipyard Holland Trouw, Maassluis, Netherlands for account of H.H. Uitdenbogaard, sold in 1879 to J.C. Schout, Breukelen, Netherlands and renamed L.R. Koolemans Beynen, renamed Jean Baptiste in 1885 was she sold towards France in 1891 where she served until 1893.
