Dutch warship Medemblik, also called Stad Medemblik, 1625-1641

Of the admiralty Noorderkwartier, built in 1625, last mentioned in 1641, an armament of 27 (1641: 4-18pd, 6-12pd, 8-9pd, 2-6pd, 6-4pd, 1-2pd)-28 (1628/1631: 4-12pd, 14-9pd, 6-6pd, 6 steenstukken/swivels) guns, a crew numbering 95-120 men (included 30 musketeers and a tonnage of 175-180 last. Served in 1628-1631 off the coast of Flanders commanded by Pieter de Vries and in 1641 commanded by Gabriel Teunisz.
