Belgian officers intended to visit armoured ships in the Netherlands according to the Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 12 November 1883

An item reported that a commission of Belgian officers including the lieutenant colonel of the staff and engineering captain Dodeur was sent to the Netherlands. One of the intentions was to visit some of the armoured ships.
