An item referred to a tiding of the commanding officer of the Dutch frigate Zr.Ms. Prins van Oranje reporting the arrival at Ascension on 22 May with the intention to continue his voyage immediately. Everything was well on board. In March and April were St. Cruz (Tenerife, Canary Islands), George d’Elmina Dutch Gold Coast/Dutch Guinea [nowadays Ghana] and Fernando Po visited.(1)
