Dutch paddle steamship 4th class Zr. Ms. Onrust undergoing repairs at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche Staatscourant dated 8 July 1859

An item dated The Hague, Netherlands 7th dealing with the movements of the Dutch squadron in the Dutch East Indies reported that the Dutch steamship Zr. Ms. Onrust lieutenant 1st class J.C.H. van de Velde was being repaired at Surabaya, Dutch East Indies.(1)

1. Paddle steamship 4th class, iron-built, laid down at the shipyard of Ned. Stoomboot Mij. Fijenoord, Rotterdam, Netherlands on 15 September 1845, launched in 1846, bought for ƒ 96.000,00, disassembled and transported to the Dutch East Indies on 12 July 1846 with the Bato and on 9 September 1847 launched with already engines and boilers placed, commissioned on 1 January 1848,major repairs in 1851, invited by natives at the Soengei-river Teweh and captured on 28 December 1859 killing except for a few native crewmembers her entire crew of more as 50 men, sunk although the wreck was still visible in 1914, dimensions 35,00 x 6,00 x 1,68 metres, horsepower 150 hp
