An item referred to tidings received from Trieste reporting that after two months of cruising the Austrian fleet returned to this harbour. The area in which she cruised was limited to the coastlines and harbours of Istria and Dalmatia while the Austrian government was much more interested in Austrian interests than in playing a important role on the world scene. This was also the reason for the decision to built none ships of the line but frigates and steamships.
