Dutch bark Krimpen aan den Lek cruising in the Dutch East Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Java-bode dated 18 September 1888

An item dated Batavia, Dutch East Indies 18th reported the arrival of the Dutch bark Krimpen aan den Lek (1) captain Van der Vegte (2) coming from Maneter Eiland of Agnieten Eilanden, Dutch East Indies, shipping agents Borneo Company Limited.

1. Iron built 3 mast-bark in 1884-1885 at the shipyard of J.&K. Smit, Krimpen aan de Lek, Netherlands. Call sign PHTB, homeport Krimpen a/d Lek, Netherlands and net capacity 3.055,25 cubic metres/1.07880 tons of 2,83 cubic metres.
