An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 12th reported that the Nederlandsche Scheepsbouw Mij. Recently delivered to the Ned. Ind. Tankstoomboot Mij the tank lighter Friesland able to transport 1.500 ton petroleum or gasoline. During the trial was she towed by the tug Neptunus achieving a maximum speed of 8,24 miles. On the 5th departed she towed by the same Neptunus towards the Dutch East Indies.
