The light ship on the Krishna bank, Bay of Bengal according to the Dutch newspaper De locomotief dated 19 January 1878

An item reported that the light ship on the Krishna bank (Bay of Bengal, Burmese coast) was anchored in 8,5 fathom water. She was yellow painted and her fixed white light on a height of 50 feet was visible over a distance of 10 English miles. The blue light every hour kindled was visible over a distance of 21 British miles. During the day was a red flag hoisted in the top of the lantern mast. Her position was 15.36.15 north latitude and 95.33.50 east longitude.
