Labeuf type submarines built of Japanese account in France according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 8

An item reported that in November at Schneider&Co., Châlons-sur-Saône, France a submarine of the Laubeuf type was launched for account of the Japanese government. She had a displacement of 457 tons and to be armed with 2 torpedo launchers in the boat and 4 launchers in the superstructure. A second submarine of the same kind was now on stocks.
