British Admiralty intending to built new warships without a ram according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1904-1905 no. 9

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht reporting that the British Admiralty intended to fit out the Minotaur-class cruisers and the battleships type Nelson both to be built not with a ram which was considered as being useless and even dangerous regarded the temporarily speeds. Further more was not a considerable weight reduced and the manoeuvrability improved.
