Chile asking for bids for building battleships according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1910-1911 no. 9

An item reported that Chile asked the major shipyards for bids for building 24.000 ton battle ships with as main dimensions 600 x 98 feet and a speed of 23 miles. The armament was to consist of 1-30,5cm/ L/50 guns, 20-12cm guns and 4-53cm guns. The major guns were to be divided over the ship similar to the British Neptune-class.
