Chilean cabinet intended replacement aged warships by ordering new ones abroad according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1926 no. 2

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau 1926 no. 3 reporting that the Chilean cabinet intended to replace some aged warships by new ones to be ordered abroad. The first plan was to order 6 destroyers of the newest design at a British shipyard. If the budget it allowed were 2-10.000 ton cruisers to be ordered.
