German submarines of the Karp type less seaworthiness as the French Laubeuf type Aigrette according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1910-1911 no. 5

An item referred to the magazine Le Yacht dated 30 April 1910 in which the author claimed that the German submarines Karp, Karassi and Kambala resembles in many details the French Aigrette of the Laubeuf three years earlier built although with less buoyancy and lying deeper in the water. Their seaworthiness was less of that of the French submarines.
