Italian naval personnel strength again increased according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad 1939 no. 4

An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau dated February 1939 reporting that between 1922 and 1938 the personnel strength of the Italian navy increased from 40.000 to 65.000 and which was estimated to be in 1941 even 75.000 men. The figures for the numbers of officers were respectively 2289, 3.051 and 4.265.
