USA designing new destroyers according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1904-1905 no. 4

An item reported that the American Board of Construction was examining the plans for a 1.200 ton destroyer with a speed of 24 miles, very seaworthy and strongly built, with a an armament of 7,6cm guns and 3 torpedo launchers. This new design would probably much resembles the so-called Tupys.
