US Navy introducing Bliss Leavitt turbine torpedoes according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1905-1906 no. 10

An item referred to the magazine Marine Rundschau reporting that was started to fit out American warships with the Bliss Leavitt turbine torpedo. During launching practices on a distance of 1.100 metres was the centre of the target (a net with a length of 45 metres) three consecutive times hit.
