Austrian destroyers Lika and Triglav lost off Albania due to mines according to the Dutch newspaper Algemeen Handelsblad dated 15 January 1916

An item dated Rome, Italy 14th reported semi official that the dead bodies of Austrian sailors were washed ashore and who did belong to the crews of the destroyed destroyers Lika (1) and Triglav (2). Apparently was a third ship destroyed in the battle off Durazzo.

1. Of the Tátra-class. Launched at Porto Ré [Kraljevica, Croatia] in 1913. Sunk after striking mines near Durazzo, Albaniaon 29 December 1915. Displacement 880 (normal)-1.070 (full load) tons and as dimensions 85,25 x 7,8 metres and an armament of 2x1-10cm/3.9” L/50 guns, 6x1-6,6cm/2.6” L/45 guns and 2x2-45cm/18” torpedo tubes. Crew numbered 104 men.
