Austrian navy lost destroyers and torpedo boats due to mines in the Adriatic Sea according to the Dutch newspaper Rotterdamsch nieuwsblad dated 10 October 1914

An item referred to the not always reliable newspaper Messagero which claimed that near Ancona at the Adriatic Sea the Austrian navy lost 4 torpedo boats and 2 destroyers blown up by their own mines and nearly all crewmembers were killed.
