French 1st class torpedo boats lacking sufficient stability according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1907-1908 No. 9

An item reported that the French minister of navy ordered the commanding officers of the 1st class torpedo boats to take care while the boats were lacking sufficient stability especially with high seas coming from behind. The instability was caused by a too heavy superstructure. As a precaution were just 2 of the 3 torpedoes to be loading in the launching devices.
