Italian torpedo boats destroyed Austrian steamship Durazzo at Pola according to the Dutch newspaper Bataviaasch nieuwsblad dated 8 November 1916

An item dated Rome, Italy 7th reported that Italian torpedo boats entered the large Austrian war harbour Pola ([or Pula, Croatia] trying to torpedo a large Austrian warship and able t destroy a large Austrian steamship. Another newspaper Het nieuws van den dag voor Nederlandsch-Indië dated 8th reported that the Durazzo was torpedoed.
