American preliminary design for a cruiser submarine type 4 dated 23 October 1920

The armament consisted of 2-8” guns, 2-4” anti aircraft guns and 8-21” torpedo tubes (6 fore, 2 aft). Displacement ready dive of 3.750 tons (3.500 tons hull, 500 tons fittings, 2.650 tons engineering, battery 175 tons, 150 tons ammunition, 125 tons equipment, 190 tons water, 750 tons fuel oil full supply margin 335 tons and 275 tons leas ballast.
