Dutch screw steamship 4th class Zr. Ms. Delfzijl lying off Batavia, Dutch Easy Indies according to the Dutch newspaper Nederlandsche staatscourant dated 6 August 1864

An item referred to tidings dated 14 June 1864 dealing with the movements of the Dutch squadron in the Dutch East Indies reported that the Dutch screw steamship 4th class Zr. Ms. Delfzijl lieutenant 1st class N.M.J. Kroef arrived on 30 May 1864 in the roads of Batavia, Dutch East Indies.(1)

1. Laid down in 1859, launched at the shipyard of K. Kater, Groningen, Netherlands on Saturday 4 August 1860, last mentioned in 1866, dimensions 38,00 x 8,16 x 3,20 metres, a 586 tons displacement, an armament of 6 guns and a crew numbering 75 men.
