German auxiliary cruiser Friedrich Wilhelm grounded off Oddde, Norway according to the Dutch newspaper Haagsche courant dated 5 December 1914

An item dated London, England 4th reported that the German 17.000 ton steamship Friedrich Wilhelm of the Norddeutsche Lloyd was grounded off Odde, Norway on a sandbank. Built in 1908, was she used as auxiliary cruiser.
