Russian cruiser Krasnyi Kavkaz modernised according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1935 no. 2

An item referred to the magazine R.M. dated November 1934 reporting that the Russian cruiser Krasni Kavkaz stationed in the Black Sea was fully modernized, especially concerning the armament. The 13cm guns were to be replaced by 4 or 5 turrets with 15 or even 20,3cm guns. It was believed that the Voroshilov stationed in the Baltic in the same manner would be modernized. Japanese tidings claimed the building of 4 submarines at Vladivostok.(1)

1. Laid down as the Admiral Lazarev at the Russud Dockyard, Nikolayev on 31 October 1913, renamed Krasnyi Kavkaz on 14 December 1926 and sunk while used as a target on 21 November 1952.
