German torpedo boat S 69 damaged in collision with German merchant ship Kitzeberg according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1908-1909 no. 9

An item referred to the magazine Schiffbau reporting that the German torpedo boat S 69 and the harbour steamship Kitzeberg on 8 February 19.30 collided in the harbour. The torpedo boat became at port side aft a hole with a diameter of one metre causing the cabin filling with water. Support was not needed and at 21.00 o’clock she went towards the shipyard. The small cruiser Stettin searched just in case while using searchlights and flares for some time in the area.
