British torpedo boat building program for 1893 according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1892-1893 no. 8

An item reported that the British building program for 1893 consisted except for 10 torpedo boats also 4-200 ton torpedo boats, larger as until then be built. The smaller torpedo boats with as dimensions 140 x 14.6 feet and a speed pf 23 miles were built by Yarrow, Poplar 3), Thornycroft, Chiswick (3), White, Cowes (3) and Brothers Laird, Birkenhead (1). The larger boats with as dimensions 180 x 18.6 feet and a speed of 27 miles were to be built by Yarrow (2) and Thornycroft (2).
