French publicity campaign for more interest in serving within the navy successful according to the Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 6

An item reported that the French publicity campaign with posters, popular lectures and the efforts of the Ligue Maritime to promote the naval service seemed to me successful regarded the tidings that in contrary to the 2.800 interested people a year earlier now 4.400 men were interested including 2.500 stokers and craftsmen.
