Armament consisted of 14-7” Armstrong guns in the battery and 1-7” Armstrong gun fore and one aft. Horsepower 900 nhp. Dimensions 295 x 56 x 37 (hold) 25 (fore)-26 (aft) feet and a tonnage of 4.221 tons. Speed 13,5 knots. Armour thickness 5.5” with 9” teak. Barque-rigged. Built in England in 1884. Crew numbered 347 men (included 27 officers), should be 650 men.
