Two monitors being built at Constantinople, Turkey. Armament consisted of one gun mounted in a rotating turret. Dimensions 140 x 30 feet. Horsepower 100 nhp. None masts. Armour thickness was to 3” with 5” cedar. A third monitor with an armament of 2 guns. Horsepower 100 nhp. Dimensions 125 x 28.5 x 10 (fore)-12 (aft) feet and a tonnage of 404 tons. None masts. Al three to serve on the Danube river.
