Large number of air stations established along British coastlines according to the Dutch magazine Dutch magazine Marineblad dated 1913-1914 no. 2
An item reported that along the British coastline along the North Sea and the Channel naval air stations were to be founded each commanded by a lieutenant and with 2-3 planes. The stations were to be fitted out with wireless telegraphy devices and the main stations also to be fitted out with airships. The first station was already used and situated on the island Grain near Sheerness. Stations were to be established at Port Victoria, Kingsnorth, Dungeness, Harwich, Grimsby, Kirkwall, Rosyth, Scotland and so on.
