Iron Duke-class battleships
An item dated London, England 5th reported that the British admiralty decided to stricken battleships of the Iron Duke-class, namely the Iron Duke (1), Marlborough (2), Benbow (3) and Emperor of India (4) and use these ships for training young sailors as part of the Atlantic Fleet. All ships were just for the outbreak of the First World War commissioned and had a displacement of 35.000 tons.

Laid down at the Portsmouth Dockyard on 12 January 1912, launched on 12 October 1912, completed in March 1914, removed from active service becoming a training ship in 1929, depot ship at Scapa Flow since 1939, damaged during an German air attack on 17 October 1939, after repairs beached still in service, sold to the Metal Industries be broken up in 1946. Resold in September 1948 brought towards Glasgow, Scotland and arrived there on 30 November 1948. Of the Iron Duke-class consisting of the Iron Duke, Marlborough, Benbow and Emperor of India. Preceded by the King George V-class and succeeded by the Queen Elizabeth-class.

Laid down at the Devonport Dockyard on 25 January 1912, launched on 24 October 1912, completed and commissioned in June 1914, removed from active service in 1929, for disposal since May 1932, sold to the Alloa Shipbreaking Company to be broken up in 1932 and arrived for this purpose at Rosyth, Scotland on 25 June 1932. Of the Iron Duke-class consisting of the Iron Duke, Marlborough, Benbow and Emperor of India. Preceded by the King George V-class and succeeded by the Queen Elizabeth-class.

Laid down at William Beardmore and Company, Glasgow, Scotland on 30 May 1912, launched on 12 November 1913, completed in October 1914, commissioned on 7 October 1914, stricken in 1929, disarmed according toe London Naval Treaty in 1930 and sold to be broken up at Rosyth, Scotland in March 1931. Of the Iron Duke-class consisting of the Iron Duke, Marlborough, Benbow and Emperor of India. Preceded by the King George V-class and succeeded by the Queen Elizabeth-class.

Laid down at Vickers, Barrow-in-Furnesss on 31 May 1912, launched on 27 November 1913, renamed Emperor of India, completed in November 1914, commissioned on 10 November 1914 and finally stricken in 1929, used as a target for gun practices sunk in 1931 salvaged and sold to be broken up on 6 February 1932 arriving at Rosyth, Scotland on 16 February 1932 for this purpose, Her building was ordered as the Delhi.
