An item dated Berlin, Germany 21st reported that on Wednesday the third group of totally 21 submarines left the harbour of Heligoland for surrender to the allies. The fourth group was to depart on the 22nd with the escort vessel Alexandra Wörmann. British authorities asked to provide the ships with victuals enough for some days on behalf of the crews. Furthermore was admiral Meurer (1) assured that the German crews were supplied with new victuals in the harbours where they were to be interned.

1. Hugo Meurer (28 May 1869 Sallach, Carinthia, Austria-4 January 1960. Kiel, Germany), served in the Imperial German Navy/Reichsmarine 1886-1920, finally in the rank of vice admiral. He represented the German admiral Franz von Hipper in the negotiations with admiral David Beatty in November 1918 dealing with the surrender of the German Fleet.
