American House of Representatives against building 4 new battleships according to the Dutch newspaper Soerabaijasch handelsblad dated 16 April 1908

An item dated Washington, USA 15th reported that the American House of Representatives disapproved the proposal of the naval commission to build 4 instead of 2 battleships with 190 against 70 votes followed by a hurrah.
