British built Chinese gunboats arrived at Hong Kong according to the magazine Mitteilungen aus dem Gebiete des Seewesens 1879 nos. 11-12

An item reported the arrival at Hong Kong on 17th October by the Chinese gunboats Epsylon, Eta, Teta and Zeta which were built by Armstrong, England. They needed 11 days for the voyage Singapore-Hong Kong and were underway harassed by a north east monsoon.
